36 Weeks Pregnant!

Hi Guys!

I am 9 months pregnant!!!! I can't believe we are so close to the end now!

I haven't really had any new cravings or symptoms this week apart from being really tired all the time! I am also loving pancakes with nutella right now! haha!

I am still using bio oil and cocoa butter everyday which fingers crossed seems to be working!

We are going on our hospital tour this week. I am hoping to go to the birth centre and have a water birth so I am really looking forward to seeing what the birth centre looks like!

I had my baby shower last week which was amazing! I will do a separate blog talking about the games we played and gifts we received. I also made my own nappy/diaper cake so if anyone wants me to do a tutorial of how to make it I will do one.

This is a changing/bathing unit we received as a gift. It's really handy and I have already filled it with all the newborn nappies, bath bits and baby wipes!

We haven't really bought any new baby items since we had our shower and received so much! We have started christmas shopping now because I don't want to be stressed out about getting it done after she has been born.

My Makeup Routine - For Redheads and Fair Skin

Hi guys!

So I thought I would just do a quick blog about what I do in my makeup routine everyday. This specifically applies to redheads with fair skin.

Foundation:
Dior Forever in 010 - £25-£30
This foundation has SPF 25 which is perfect for a fair complexion! It is also the perfect colour for my skin tone and is really thin and covers well without leaving horrible foundation lines!

Concealer:
Rimmel Wake Me Up in 10 Ivory - £4
This concealer was one I picked up randomly as I usually buy Clinique concealer. It covers well and for only £4 its worth the money!

Powder:
Natural Collection in Soft Transparent - £2.99
Rimmel Stay Matte in Transparent - £3.99
No 7 in Fair - £11.99
These are all OK. The rimmel one isn't transparent you have to be careful it doesn't make you orange! The Natural Collection again is OK I just wish it wasn't loose powder. My favourite is the No 7 by Boots.

Mascara:
Dior Extase in Brown 791 - £23
I love this mascara! It doesn't clump together, lengthens your lashes and is the perfect colour for me!

Eye Liner:
Rimmel in Sable Brown - £2.99
Nothing much to say about this really it does the job!

Lip Gloss
Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Kissyfit
This looks like it will come out in a pink colour but it doesn't really it looks pretty clear on your lips. It is very sticky which I am not a huge fan of however It does stay on all day which is great and it does have SPF 15 which for me is a real bonus.

OK so that is what is in my makeup bag. There are a few other bits which I haven't mentioned here but if you want to check out my youtube video: http://youtu.be/S8vWEs6hC1A
I have covered the other bits on there!

32 Weeks Pregnant!

Hi guys!

So I am now 32 weeks pregnant! I can't believe I am 8 months pregnant! Time is going by so quickly, really soon we are going to be bringing our baby home! I have been really unwell the last week or so. I have had a terrible cold and sore throat along with an ear infection :( It seems to be taking forever to clear up! I was also in the hospital the weekend before last as I accidentally hit my bump and as I'm rhesus negative I had to have a blood test and an anti-D shot.

Symptoms: Some of my morning sickness has returned :(

Cravings: None

Stretch Marks: None still :) I am using cocoa butter formula for stretch marks every morning and Bio Oil every night.

Movements: Baby has been moving loads! The movements feel more like pressure rather than pokes and kicks now. It's like when the baby stretches or rolls it feel likes the whole limb is pushing into my tummy. It's getting a little uncomfortable now but it's still amazing to feel this new life move inside of you :)

Baby buys: We bought a teether in the sale at Mamas & papas for £5

I have also bought her a few outfits - we bought a pink all in one and a christmas dress with the cutest tights!

I also bought a belly band/girdle for me for after birth. It was £17.99 including postage from Amazon.co.uk. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Underworks-Post-Delivery-Girdle-Belt/dp/B0002UCES4/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348659278&sr=8-1-fkmr0
I bought a size medium as I usually wear a size 12. It looks to come up quite large so bear this in mind :)

We bought the bouncer this week too. We got one from Mamas&papas which cost £35 I think - or it could of been £39?! But it vibrates and plays music. It's really cute and we bought it in a beige colour so it can be used again if we have a boy one day!

This is the bump for 32 weeks!

27 & 28 Weeks Pregnant!

Hi guys,

Welcome to week 27 & 28! Time is flying by so quickly! I know I say that all the time but I just can't believe in only 12 weeks is our baby's due date!

I have entered the 3rd trimester this week which is really exciting! The home stretch!

Symptoms

Fatigue - I have definitely been a lot more tired recently. I have even found myself napping in the afternoon which is very unusual for me!

Sickness - my morning sickness has returned! Noooooo! It isn't as bad as my sickness earlier in pregnancy but it has definitely returned. It's started to be really random and sometimes I can wake up feel fine and get all the way to lunch time and suddenly vomit :(

Emotional - I have been so emotional lately! I cry randomly during films or if I can't find anything to wear! haha!

Cravings

Cereal is a real craving this week! I have been craving eating cereal late at night before bed! I especially like Frosties at the moment!

Stretch Marks

None yet :)

Movement

The baby has been so active lately! Especially at night when I'm trying to sleep!

Baby Buys

We have bought a thermometer for baby, nappy sacks and a few small toys. We have also had the pram delivered this week! We chose the Oyster travel system It comes with the pushchair seat. We also had to purchase the carry cot, car seat and adapters for the pram as well as an isofix bar for the car. It's a great pram which folds down really small and is extremely lightweight! We bought the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat and the Easyfix isofix bar. Below are some images of the pram.

This is the carry cot part suitable for a newborn.

This is the pushchair seat.

This week we also went for a 4D scan. It was amazing! It cost £99 on a special offer. This is the link to the company I used: http://www.babypremier.co.uk/
Included in the price we got 8 black and white photos, a CD with colour photos, a teddy bear, a DVD recording of the scan, a photo frame and a growth report.
From the photos our baby looks just like her daddy :)

I also had my blood tests this week and my anti-D injection which is for people who have RH- blood type.

I have not got a bump shot for this week :( but I will make sure I upload one for next week.

26 Weeks Pregnant!

Hey Guys!

So this is my week 26 bump update!

Cravings: None this week

Symptoms: Fatigue, morning sickness - this has returned :( It's definitely not as bad as prior to me turning 16 weeks pregnant but it has come back and I do find myself throwing up every now and again :( I have also been getting a stitch-like pain when I have been walking around I believe it is to do with where the baby is positioned and the doctor told me it is also to do with my ligaments stretching!

Stretch Marks: None so far! I am using cocoa butter every morning and bio-oil each evening!

Maternity Buys: I have bought a sports bra from Tesco which I am using as a sleep bra. It was only £5 so definitely worth it!
I also recommend buying a pregnancy journal is you haven't already. The one below I bought from Amazon and it is a place to record how your feeling each month, to put a bump picture in each month and to store your ultrasound photographs. It is a lovely keepsake!

The book below I also bought from Amazon it's got lots of information regarding your babies progress, pregnancy diet tips, labour information etc.

Baby Buys: I have bought a ton of stuff! I am going to do a separate blog and vlog on this.

So this is the bump at 26 weeks!

I will upload another blog next week! Please check out my pregnancy vlogs on youtube: http://youtu.be/A_XtHqDjrZg

25 Weeks Pregnant!

Hi guys!

So I am now 25 weeks pregnant! I never thought pregnancy would be this hard! I've had terrible morning sickness since week 8 and just when I thought it was over its come back with a vengeance!

Apart from the sickness this week I have been baby shopping! I bought the baby a cot! We also bought two cute outfits (sailor style) in a sale. I will do a blog where I show all the outfits we have bought so far.

My best friend is planning my baby shower for me which I will have in October. It's also my little sisters 18th in October! I have no idea what to buy for her, what do 18 year olds like now?? I was thinking some kind of makeup (my sister loves makeup and she wears really expensive brands so it seems like a good idea for a present.

Pregnancy Information for week 25

Stretch mark: so far I have no stretch marks! I have been using cocoa butter every morning and bio oil every night so fingers crossed the stretch marks stay away!

Cravings: OK so I'm a little disappointed as I haven't really had any cravings this pregnancy as such. I mean I can eat a jar of pickled onions but I don't feel like I have to eat them I just want to if that makes sense!

Movements: movements are really strong now! Adam can feel the baby from the outside too! You can also see my tummy moving when baby kicks but you can't see hands or feet or anything yet!

Bump shot: Ok so here is the bump at 25 weeks!

Next week we will be going to a 4D scan! I will do a gender reveal and upload some of the outfits we have bought :)

Welcome

My name is Lauren and I am 24 years old!

I decided to start writing a blog to track my pregnancy and to keep note of my experiences as a first time mum!

A little background about me....
I live in the UK, am engaged to Adam and we are expecting our first baby on November 21st.  We both work, Adam works as a manager for a engineering company (don't ask me anything about this as it all seems a little boring to me! But it puts food on the table so thats all good!)
I recently opened an after-school tuition centre for children to help them improve their maths and English skills.

So thats a little about me and I am sure more will be revealed over these blogs!
